Contract Value: £550,000.00

The project involved the remediation of a large 40 acre redundant timber treatment plant and associated buildings within Leicester City Centre. After the removal of all contaminated materials, ground slabs and foundations, the entire site was ripped to a depth of 1.5M to ensure all hard materials has been broken up/removed prior to piling works commencing.

Works involved the demolition of several asbestos clad garages and workshops previously used as a coach park and plant yard. The grubbing up of concrete hard-standings and re-processing to a 6F2 grading suitable for use in the future infrastructure works. The remediation work involved the segregation, soil treatment and disposal off site of hazardous and non-hazardous materials located around buried fuel tanks and old wash down areas. Voids created by contaminated soil removal (5000t) were back-filled with recycled materials arising from the demolition works.
 
  Project Name: Charnwood Road, Shepshed
Client: Stamford Homes, Peterborough
Contract Value: £220,000.00

The works involved the demolition and site clearance of an old printing factory within the town centre. The remediation works extended to the treatment, excavation and disposal of Japanese Knotweed and the soil remediation of contaminated ground around underground fuel tanks and wash down areas. Voids created by the soil removal were filled with re-cycled concrete arising from the demolition works.
